format.

Using the Dictionary Manager
Open a file
Press CONTROL+O to open the File Open dialog.
Type a known file name in the edit field.
Or press TAB to move to the File Name list box and use
the ARROWS to select the file that you want opened.
Press ENTER to open the file.
After you change dictionary entries, press CONTROL+S to
        save the file.
If you want the dictionary entries to be the same for
all the files, see Open the Default File.

Create a new file
Press CONTROL+N to open a new file.
The new file opens as an untitled file.
See Save a File to name the file.

Save a file
Press CONTROL+S to save your file.
When a file is untitled, CONTROL+S opens the Save As
dialog. The dialog opens with the PC cursor in the
        edit field.
Type the name of the application in the edit field.
Press ENTER to assign this new file to the name
        entered in the edit field.
If you do not know the name of the application, see
        Enter a file name.
If another file already exists with the same name, a
caution dialog appears. JAWS asks if you want to
replace it. If you do not want to replace the
existing name, press N to choose the No button. Then
type another name in the edit field and press ENTER
to save the new name. To replace the existing file
of the same name with this new file, press Y to
        choose the YES button.
If you want the dictionary entries to be the same for
all the files, see Open the Default File.

Enter a file name
Start the application that you want to modify.
Press INSERT+Q to identify the name of the application.
JAWS identifies the name of the application by saying
its name.x, then spells the name followed by .exe.
Type this name in the edit field.
Press ENTER to close the dialog.

Open the Default File
Press CONTROL+D to open the Default File.
Changes made to this file affect all the applications

dictionary entries in the Default file for all
applications until you open a file and make new
        entries to some specified application.
After you make changes, press CONTROL+S to save the
        file.
Please Note: If you run an application and it does not
utilize the dictionary entries you saved in Default,
there are overriding settings in this applications
control file that you must also change. See Open a
